Privacy Policy

This policy is a working draft and will be replaced with counsel-reviewed language before general availability.

What we collect

• From Discord, when you sign in: your user ID, username, avatar, email address, and the list of servers you are in. The server list is used only to check which servers you can administer and is not stored long-term.
• About your bots: configuration you set here (enabled modules, message overrides, per-server settings) and operational data such as status and recent console output.

How we use it

To authenticate you, show you the bots you own, apply the changes you make, and keep the platform running. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Account and configuration data is kept while your account is active. Console output is kept briefly for troubleshooting. Deleting a bot removes its configuration; deleting your account removes your profile.

Third parties

We rely on Discord for authentication and bot hosting infrastructure for running your bots. Error monitoring may record diagnostic information about failures.

Your choices

You can revoke Build a Bot’s Discord access at any time from your Discord account settings. Contact the support server for data requests.
